Synapse User's Page
This page is provided for Synapse users. It is intended as a gateway to
news, literature, latest versions and other information that may enhance
your use of Synapse.
1/10/2001, Synapse has been tested through MacOS 8.6. It is expected to work with MacOS 9, but is expected not to work with MacOS-X.
7/29/98, Source code for Synapse is now available. See below.
4/1/97, Variants of Synapse now includes Target (robotic targeting of cells), Apex Image (tele-radiological application copyrighted by Apex Radiology), and LOMIS (Laser Optical Mamography).
11/1/97, Synapse was ported to Photometrics PXL camera. Unfortunately funds ran out before the work was completed within two weeks of completion. It would take very little to support this camera.
Source code is available for commercial or laboratory use. You will be asked to provide a development plan and sign an "Synapse Developers" agreement. Synapse has been used to build a robotic targeting, a teleradiology application, and a laser optical mamography prototype. Contact Jim Nash for details. See price list for prices.
In using Synapse, you agree to read and abide by our license
agreement. If you cannot agree to the terms of the license agreement,
