Introduction

Synergy Research develops software and prototype hardware for industrial inspection, academic research, and medical instrumentation. We work from our background in physics to understand and model technical problems and then implement their solution in software and hardware.

Staff

Larry Woltz, Ph.D. in Physics, University of Florida. Developed brain imaging software and functional MRI time series analysis routines for the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) of the National Institutes of Health. Algorithm and interface development for SRView - a Unix application for brain image analysis. Developed research algorithms for an image processing project on aircraft recognition. Developed Feeder, an automated liquid delivery system for behavioral research of primates. Also developed image reconstruction algorithms for a prototype infrared laser optical mammography system. Larry is Vice President of Synergy Research Inc.

Jim Nash, M.Sc. in Physics, University of Maryland. Worked in a variety of research laboratory and industrial product development settings since 1975. While in Sweden Mr. Nash developed and test marketed the commercial version of the robotic controller, Target. In previous years he designed and developed electophysiology software with ion imaging extensions, Synapse, a teleradiology viewer for a radiology service, a prototype infrared laser optical mammography system, and an SEM electron microscope EDS x-ray analysis program for the Japan market. Early in his career, Mr. Nash conducted research into the electrical activity of bullfrog sympathetic neurons. Jim is president of Synergy Research Inc.

Helena Nash, Midwife. Helena looks after banking and invoices. Helena is treasurer of Synergy Research Inc.
